United in SAI is built on five pillars which support youth and young adults on their journey to discovering their true Self. In the process of realising one’s Self, one cultivates self-mastery and self-confidence, lives a more fulfilling and joyous life and becomes an invaluable member of one’s family, community, society, nation and the planet, playing one’s part in making this world a better place for all.
Youth Self-Help
Youth Self-Help
Only when one’s cup is full or at least filled a little, can youth have the energy to fill the cups of others. Before youths can give their best to others, youths must take care of themselves too. Only then can youths serve whole-heartedly. What’s amazing is that when one serves, one’s heart becomes full and overflows with Love.
Being a youth nowadays is not easy – juggling work, family, personal development and community service. Only when youths are well, youths can they care for and love others without burning out. “Please remember to put on your oxygen mask first, before helping others”.
Education that combines the scientific knowledge of the West with the spiritual wisdom of the East helps discipline the intellect, nourish fellow-feeling and develop social responsibility. As Sathya Sai Baba elaborates, “‘Love All Serve All’ is the core of the values-based education.
An education in human values based on love for all is the only solution to all the problems in the world today. Values-based education would enable children and young people learn the ideals of service to the community whilst embracing our differences and celebrating our diversity.

Teacher Training
Teacher Training
As much as teachers strive to give their best to their students, it is also vital that teachers walk on the path of lifelong learning and work on a better version of themselves. As Sathya Sai Baba says, “Teachers are reservoirs from which, through the process of education, students draw the water of life.” To keep this reservoir ever-filled, continuous learning should take place.
Upgrading takes many forms including self-directed learning and attending training courses. With an attitude of lifelong learning, teachers mould the classroom for the 21st century.
Life is a journey of continuous learning. The day one stops learning is the day one merely exists but ceases to truly live. Building skills is the key to lifelong learning – for one’s physical, emotional, mental as well as spiritual well being.
Skill building is not just getting academic qualifications and training in one’s chosen field but much much more! It is the quest for excellence through knowledge, application and experience culminating in expertise.

Other Charitable Work
Other Charitable Work
Charitable deeds done with great love make the world a better place for all. This pillar embraces all community service projects and outreach programs undertaken by youth that do not come under the other 4 pillars.
Based on the teachings of Sathya Sai Baba ‘”Love All, Serve All”, Other Charitable Work includes organising medical camps, refurbishing school libraries, painting murals, providing meals to the hungry and homeless, providing daily breakfast to children from low income families.
